The other night I went to see George Clooney’s new movie “Up in the Air”. It’s almost certain to get Oscar nominations and you should see it too.
Huh, they’re becoming film reviewers? Watch out Roger Ebert!
So let’s get serious for a moment.
The film is all about this guy who goes to companies and fires people because bosses are not up to the task.
Part of his termination speech is all about doing things in the future that are important to you and seeing this moment as the time to realize your dreams.
We cannot say this enough to you if you’re thinking about starting your own business. Think really hard and take action!
The economy is troubled and big companies are increasingly ruthless regarding employees.
We’re not going to start reviewing movies. But this film despite it’s subject – is very funny and a great 100 minutes

I saw this movie. George Clooney just rocks, but I doubt we were thinking about the same things!
It sucked seeing people crushed by evil corp. Makes me want to escape even more
Caught this at the weekend. Way better than Avatar! My wife loved Clooney, I liked the movie. Good deal. And yes, we’re starting a biz this year – hope we’re not firing everyone in a few months! GP

We are starting a business and my husband (unlike me) does not like George Clooney. he’s an action movie fan. I showed him, not George, you’re blog and it helped me get him away from some of the junk he drags me to.
